Funny, but I actually don’t like bananas. Something about their texture freaks me out! I just don’t like it. However, I LOVE anything that’s made with bananas…bread, muffins, you name it! I love the flavor, just not the texture of the actual banana itself! (LOL) I’m weird I know, I know. Anyway, this recipe is husband and child approved! So enjoy!
Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 Stick (1/2 Cup) Butter
- 3 Large Ripe Bananas
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extrat
- 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan with butter or spray it with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
Add the stick of butter to a bowl and microwave it until melted (try 1 minute)
Add ripe bananas to the same bowl and mash with a fork
Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the bowl and mix with same fork
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon
Add all the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-55 minutes. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out nice and clean
